A number of children with two women (one a nurse) at the entrance to the Queen Victoria Convalescent Home at Mount Lofty (established by Dr Allan Campbell). There are two children in wheeled conveyances, and two of the boys are on crutches. The foundation stone can be seen to the right - 'Diamond Jubilee Memorial / Queen Victoria Home for Convalescent Children / this foundation stone was laid by the Lady Victoria Buxton / Mt Lofty 1897'.
