Summary

[General description] The recently renovated shopfront of Truscotts Tailors and Mercers on Rundle Street, taken from a balcony on the opposite side of the street. The shiny dark coloured tiles are Art Deco in style. B 17063 shows the position of this shop. [On back of photograph] 'Acre 79 / Rundle Street, south side / June 5th 1937 / Showing alterations made to building in centre in 1936 / Compare with B 5004 / Site of building in centre: Right side is 19 yards east of King William Street / Frontage 6 yards'.
