Summary

Portrait of Murray Steward, pictured with his van. Due to petrol rationing during the second World War, the van was fitted with a gas producer which ran on coke and water in the 44 gallon drums fitted on the running boards. The vehicle is a 1923 Fiat 501 with and Australian van body; registration number 153 845.
