Summary

Four camels hitched to a wagon, on which children are sitting. According to a researcher, this photograph was taken by her great grandmother, Alice Hopewell, sometime between 1909 & 1917. It was taken at Hergott Springs/Marree and the children on the wagon were on a school trip with their teacher (standing next to wagon). The researcher suggests that possibly they were celebrating Australia Day on 28th July 1916.
