Summary

One of four views (B 69256 - B 69259) of the Pioneer Women's memorial off King William Street : designed by Miss E.M. Cornish, paid for by Women's Centenary Council of South Australia and modelled by Ola Cohn. It was unveiled by Lady Muriel Barclay-Harvey, 19 April 1941 in the 'garden of remembrance ... established in the centenary year 1936 by the women of South Australia as a tribute to the pioneer women of the state'.
