[On back of photograph] 'Archery club meeting on the grounds of St. Peter's College' (Another hand) 'Probably in the eighteen sixties. See description of meetings held at the College grounds in the S.A. Register, April 26, 1865, 4G and Sep. 26, 1865, 4H.' (Another hand) 'or Observer May 18, 1860, 3C.' [General description] This faded view shows Saint Peter's College building with a small group of people by the front entrance. To the left the main group is gathered around the archery targets, the ladies in crinolines and gentlemen in top hats.
