Historical information

Hannah Page was the eldest child of William Button (b 1819, Westleton, Suffolk (died 1866, Aldinga, SA) and Margaret, nee Flanagan (born 1832, Russell Town County Tyrone, Ireland died 1913 Minlacowie Yorke Peninsula). They were married 17 March 1850 at Willunga. Hannah was born December 1850 at Willunga. Her father worked for Mr Loud. Her siblings were William Bly born 1852, James 1854 (his descendants still live in the Sellicks Beach area) Daniel 1856, John 1858, Sarah 1861, Joseph Bly 1864, Owen 1866. Lucy Eleanor Skinner, subject of photo B 64201/38 was the step-daughter of Sarah Button born 1861 and married Hannah and Henry Orland Page's son George Page.
