LOCKLEYS: Close view of part of the premises of the Prison Gate Brigade Home at Lockleys, a Salvation Army rehabilitation centre on Henley Beach Road photographed on 27 July 1893; it was established in a farm house previously owned by John White Mellor in 1890 and only functioned for a short time, closing in about 1904.
