Summary

Adelaide Hospital on the corner of Frome Road and North Terrace. The three storey building is shown behind a curved stone wall with the gate house at the edge of the road. This new hospital was started in 1855 and completed in 1856. The first floor ward held 20 beds for males. The females were located on the 2nd floor. The dirt road in front of the hospital appears to be muddy. Other hospital buildings can be seen in the grounds.
