Summary

A section described as being the 'kettle erection' photographed at Victor Electric Plaster Mills, Port Adelaide, South Australia. The plaster mill was at Port Adelaide on the canal, now filled in, (ref Port Canal shopping centre). Gypsum was brought by coastal trader ship from Stenhouse Bay to the canal wharf and transferred into the mill over the gantry. Australian Gypsum produced Victor Plaster products there and Victorboard at Gillman. Taken over by Boral in late 70's.
