Summary

McLaren Vale Public Hall: opening ceremony by Governor Hore Ruthven, 1 July 1933. The Governor has just unfoiled the Union Jack Flag from the front of the War Memorial and a brass plaque is shown naming those residents who died fighting in the Great War of 1914-1918. The War Memorial is situated in front of the newly opened Public Hall.
