Summary

ATHELSTONE: George and Anna Packer outside their early stone residence at 'Agon Farm', Athelstone. Vera sits on her father's knee and Ernest stands by his side. According to a researcher, Anna's maiden name was Dutschka,Ernest was 4 years old, Vera an infant, born 1896 and 1899 respectively. When George died Arthur Ambrose Taylor bought the property at auction and four generations of the Taylor family worked the market garden until it was sold to the Lewis family [Agon].
