Summary

MAYLANDS: East Adelaide horse drawn trams outside Maylands depot. According to a researcher, the driver of this tram was John Lark Lang and the other two men are his brothers. John Lang was later awarded a letter of commendation for stopping a bolting horse tram from the then secretary W. Goodman who was later to become Sir William Goodman, General Manager of the SA Municipal Tramways Trust. The brothers lived in the street adjoining the Depot, Frederick Street Maylands.
