Summary

ALICE SPRINGS: Machinery used at Alice Springs power station. This is the Bath Street Power Station, the first power station in Alice Springs. It commenced operation in November 1937. The engines are 4VRO Ruston-Hornsby, four cyclinder diesel engines, which are driving Crompton-Parkinson 20 kW alternators.
