Summary

[General description] The boatshed, viewed from the water is nestled amongst trees. It is very much in the style of the time with white half-timbered walls and snub gable. There is a low timbered pier along the river's edge for the mooring and boarding of boats. [On back of photograph] 'Prince Alfred College Boatshed on the north bank of the River Torrens / May 12th 1931 / Erected in 1930 / Situated about 400 yards (as the crow flies) from King William Road'.
