Summary

Street parade with a banner 'Kapunda greets you', led by a brass band and including a section of men in uniform (see also image 36). The parade may have been in celebration of the arrival of General Hamilton, as reported on 24 March 1914. The Lord Palmerston Hotel has A. Miers' name on the verandah, which according to the Kapunda Herald on 30 October 1914, he took over from G.J. Owens
