Summary

LUCINDALE: The haystack built by Land Army Girl, Frances Harvie. This stack would have been on section 72, Hundred of Joyce, at Lucindale, known as "Bindarrah" and owned by W R Holman. It was built using a grab hoist after raking the loose hay to a nearby point. The 'grab hoist' was borrowed from Mr. Legoe of Callendale Station, 10 miles south of the farm. The stack was probably thatched with cutting grass obtained from Teakle's property Conmurra.
