Summary

[General description] This is a view of a group of buildings in the north-eastern side of Hindmarsh Square. Clarkson Plate Glass and Mirror Works can be seen behind the premises of Gebhardt and Moreland's Saw Works. [On back of photograph] ' Acre 99 / Hindmarsh Square, east side / April 1st, 1929 / On the right is Burmeister Place (29.5 yards north of Grenfell Street) / Gebhardt's premises and the two storey houses were demolished in May 1932 / For view of State Motors premises erected on this site in 1946, see B 12457'.
