Summary

View of Kensington Road with the belfry of St. Matthew's Church partially visible on the right. The artist has depicted an eastward view of Kensington road which is busy with horses, traps and bystanders. The drawing is a reproduction of a pencil sketch with has been tinted. The artist, Alexander Charles Kelly (1811-1877) was a newly arrived Scottish medical practitioner and winegrower.
