Summary

A pencil sketch of Adelaide Hospital in 1843 by Dr Kelly, who was assistant surgeon at that time. The building is depicted as a small cottage daubed and thatched with three doors and and three windows. It is set amid grassland and trees. Alexander Charles Kelly (1811-1877) was a newly arrived Scottish medical practitioner and winegrower.
