Summary

GENERAL: Sir Douglas Mawson and members of the B.A.N.Z. Antarctic Research Expedition, 1929-31, relaxing inside quarters; the men are smoking, listening to a gramophone, and one holds a tambourine. According to a researcher, Eric Douglas called this "Our Antarctic Club". Details by Eric on the back of his copy of the print: "On top bunk - self, 2nd Mate Mr Colbeck, Simmers. Lower row - Stu Campbell, 'Cherub' Fletcher, Doc Ingram, 'Babe' Marr, 'Birdie' Falla. Center Two - 3rd Mate Mr Child, Alf Howard".
