Summary

[General description] Large crowds have come out to see this parade, part of the popular Glenelg Carnival in 1930. The balcony of the Grand Residential Hotel is crowded as well as Jetty Road. There are many floats including one in the foreground which features a young lady standing in front of a shell wearing a sash (beauty contestant?) and water skiing behind a shark. [On back of photograph] 'Reproduced in the 'Chronicle' / Glenelg Carnival'.
