Summary

[General description] Onlookers line the balcony of Duncan's Gresham Hotel whilst the crowd in the street celebrates the Armistice. A wagonful of men, probably distinguished returned soldiers, is drawn through the crowd by a pair of heavy horses whilst the Police Greys keep order. [On back of photograph] 'South western corner of King William Street and North Terrace / November 12th, 1918 (Day following Armistice Day).
