Summary

University Oval Grandstand Opening on 11 July 1910. Professor GC Henderson is in the left foreground with a hand in his pocket. Overcoats, top hats, tutor's gowns are the order of the day. South Australian Governor Sir Day Bosanquet officially opened the University Oval, the Pavilion (grandstand) and the Boat shed - all icons of the University sporting history.
