Summary

Teachers and students on the first day of the Summer School at the School of Arts and Crafts, Exhibition Building, North Terrace, Adelaide. Run for teachers from rural areas, instruction was given in Object Drawing, Plant Drawing, Design and Blackboard Drawing. Only the teaching staff are identified - in the front row occupying positions 5-8, they are: Mrs Margaret E. Walloscheck (Assistant), Mr L.H. Howie (Principal), Mr C.J. Pavla (Senior Master) and Miss Gladys K Good (Assistant). This photo appeared in 'The Register' 24 January 1928, page 10.
