Summary

Rundle Street, looking west from Pulteney Street. Taken at 2.15pm February 12, 1929 to show traffic. Two policemen are taking advantage of the shade under Reid's Corner verandah while a colleague stands directing traffic under an umbrella in the middle of the intersection. A cyclist in a vest is cyling over the tramlines. Reid's Corner houses Tom Reid's furniture store and Electrolux House. A taller building further along Rundle Street (Martin Buildings) heading west on the southern side advertises Tom Reid and Sons furnishers, W Wedler umbrellas, Coppings mens outfitters and Crown Studios.
