Summary

[General description] A small crowd stands at the entrance of the new Animal Nutrition Research laboratory at its opening by the Prime Minister Mr. Bruce on 22nd October, 1928. It is a two storey brick building with a tiled roof in the Georgian style. [On back of photograph] 'Reproduced in the 'Advertiser', October 23, 1928 / Animal Nutrition Research Laboratory / Established by the Commonwealth Council of Scientific and Industrial Research / 1928 / Site: About 100 yards east of the Parade Ground at the side of the Adelaide Bowling Club (see lawn on right) / For plan showing site see C 121'.
