Summary

[General description] Delivery vehicles old and new stand in East Terrace outside the Market. In the centre of the road is predominately horse-drawn wagons with motor vehicles parked at the kerb. Men push hand barrows. The car driving towards the camera (registration 59491) is a 1926 23.8hp Dodge Tourer owned by F. Whibley, 103 The Parade, Norwood. The fourth, angle-parked vehicle on the right (registration 56894) is a 1926 Overland tray top lorry owned by F.Johns, Frederick street, Hilton. The vehicle second from left (registration 26362) is a 1924 21hp gray tray top truck (known as a C cab), owned by T.Shueard of Ambleside, Hahndorf.
