Summary

[General description] This Anglican Church is a modest single storey building in the half timbered style popular at the time. It was built in 1928 in the town of Wolseley, originally surveyed as Tatiara Town in 1883 but re-named after General Sir Garnet Wolseley (later Viscount). It is in what was known as 'disputed territory' between South Australia and Victoria due to surveying error. The Privy Council decided in favour of Victoria after much debate.
