Summary

[General description] People enjoying a day at Port Noarlunga where tents and umbrellas are dotted across the beach. Most people are fully clothed and wear hats in the sun. Dressing sheds and 'conveniences' are situated near the sand dunes and the carpark can be seen in the distance. [On back of photograph] 'Port Noarlunga Beach / 1928 / Reproduced in the "Observer", March 3, 1928' (Another hand, text incomplete) 'they do things at Port Noarlunga / observe the neat dressing and shell tents on the beach'.
