Summary

[General description] This six storey building was constructed as an investment for the Methodist Church and to house administrative offices for the Church and the Methodist Book Depot (later renamed the Epworth Book Depot). The style is Gothic with a strong ecclesiastical feel. [On back of photograph] 'Acre 204 / Pirie st., south side / Epworth Building / 1928 / Frontage: 24 yards / Far side is 77 yards west of Gawler Place / Reproduced in "Chronicle", July 7th, 1928'.
