Centenary train, Loco. 605

Centenary train, Loco. 605, first trip through the Hills. A researcher has suggested that this is not the Centenary Train of 1936, but an Australian Railway Historical Society tour train, hauled by two RX type locomotives (two plumes of smoke can be seen), possibly in the 1960s. The horizontal bars on the carriage windows were added between 1937 and 1947, and were not a feature of the Centenary Train carriages.
