Summary

[General description] Mount Barker Public School pupils are assembled outside the School. The Headmaster Mr. P.W. Jones is standing in the doorway of the building which is a square stone structure with a gable and verandah on one side. [On back of photograph] 'P.W. Jones' school in Hutchinson Street (opposite Masonic Temple), Mount BArker / About 1871 / Pres. by Mr. J.W. Walkom.'
