Summary

[General description] A busy street scene in Rundle Street as shoppers crowd the pavement at sale time (John Martins', 'The Big Store' can be seen on the right.) Transport is a variety of horse-drawn vehicles and there are several street vendor's barrows at the kerbside. [On back of photograph] 'Rundle Street / Looking west from the Arcade / Jan. 1910 / Near side of the King of Hanover is 42 ½ yards west of Charles Street'.
