General notes

Advice received suggests that March 1911 is the earliest possible date for this photograph: the large station building was erected in mid 1908; one of the wagons in the foreground arrived in Port Lincoln on 30 September 1910; and the locomotive (W42) arrived in Port Lincoln on 4 March 1911. This photograph is featured in the book 'Peninsula Pioneer' by Peter Knife (pp.162-163; 211).
