Summary

[General description] A well dressed couple walk along a path in front of the Palm House. There is a rock garden in front of the building which is set on rising ground. This graceful glass and steel structure was imported from Bremen, Germany in 1875 and opened to the public in 1877. [On back of photograph] 'Botanic Gardens, Adelaide / Before 1927'.
