Historical information

The Stainbank family consisted of Arthur Taggart Stainbank, his wife Florence nee Minshull. Eight of their children - John Taggart (Jack), Florence Hester (Hettie), Irene May (May), Winifred Clair (Winnie), Violet Constance, Helen Lonsdale (Nelly), Olive Vera (Vera) and Henry Ellerton - were born in South Australia, but it seems likely that 'Kitty' (in some of the photographs was also one of their children but born elsewhere.
