Summary

[General description] The Federation style Goodman Building is named for Sir William George Toop Goodman (1872-1961), the MTT General Manager for many years. The smartly uniformed men entering the gate are probably tram drivers or conductors. [On back of photograph] 'Metropolitan Tramways Trust Offices, Hackney Road / c. 1908-27'.
