Summary

[General description] The crowded foreshore at Henley Beach. Family groups have brought their horse, buggy and tent and set up camp. Note the horse and buggy on the right being driven in the sea. [On back of photograph] 'Henley Beach / Before 1924 and after 1893 (Congregational Church, on left, erected in Sea View Road in January, 1893) Style of ladies' dresses and the motor car on the left suggests a date about 1910'.
