Summary

[General description] A panoramic view of North Terrace looking north west, showing its gardens and buildings including the Museum, Mortlock Library and Institute. Rooftops of city buildings are seen on the left. Just above the railway station and parliament buildings in the distance is a gasometer. Traffic is still a mix of motor car and horse-drawn with an electric tram running down the centre of the road. [On back of photograph] 'North Terrace, looking west from the Kelvin Building* / 1927' (Another hand) '*Now called Security House'.
