Summary

[General description] Three businesses adjoin in this photograph. On the left is part of the premises of Campbell and Worthington, dealers in cars including De Dion, Bouton and Leyland. In the centre at number 219 is D. O'Brien, 'Titan' Battery Service Station, and A.B. Jobson Electrical. The building on the right is the premises of 'Syno' Signwriters. [On back of photograph] 'Acre 153 / Grenfell Street, south side / May 31, 1927 / No. 219 Grenfell Street was erected in 1926. For view of building formerly on site see B 2722. / Site of no. 219 (excluding the iron structure adjoining it on west side): right side is 55 yards east of Union Street. Frontage 8 yards. / No. 219 and the structure to the right of it were demolished in 1935 (compare with B 6766)'.
