Summary

[General description] This is a sketch of Holland House, built on Turretfield Estate in 1854 by Richard Holland, pastoralist and cattle and horse breeder. He bred 1882 Melbourne Cup winner The Assyrian. The house is sited on high ground looking back over the river bed in the foreground. See PRG 280/1/8/237 for a close up view of the house.
