Summary

[General description] Two early Adelaide cottages, one double fronted and the other single fronted are nestled together. They have small gardens with fences built from wooden paling, picket and brick. The cottage on the right appears unoccuped at this time as the windows are boarded up and the slate roof is in disrepair. It is about to be renovated, see B 4892 for result. See B 15610 for a view from 1964 where the cottage on the left has been demolished. [On back of photograph] 'Acre 693 / South Terrace west / Jan. 12, 1927 / The cottage on the right was altered in 1927. See B 4892. Right side of cottage is 17.5 yards west of Brown St. Left side of cottages is 32.5 yards west of Brown St'.
