Summary

[General description] The 'Acacias' viewed from its wide gravel driveway with several people, probably family members, posed in various attitudes on its front verandah. Some are holding tennis racquets. Perhaps the gentleman with the top hat is Sir Edwin? There is a fountain in front of the house and formal gardens are in the process of being laid out. [On back of photograph] 'The Acacias', Marryatville / (residence of Sir E.T. Smith) / 1881.'
