First motor car, a Ford, but a well-used post 1923 model, loaded for shipping during the construction of the East-West railway. [details of car provided by a researcher].

Second motor car

The second motor car used on the construction of the East-West railway line, passing between sandhills along the railway line. It is a Ford car of 1918/19. The wheels are after-market accessory disc versions as opposed to the factory-fitted wooden spoke wheels. The truck body is Australian made. It is most likely a Model TT one ton truck rather than a model T car, but photo is not clear enough to be positive. [from information provided by a researcher].
