Summary

A composite of two photographs of the race horse 'Classee', with the first showing four horses 'at the turn for home', and the second showing 'Classee' winning the Auraria Stakes at Cheltenham, ahead of 'Regal Gem', 'Serene Star' and 'Peregrine'. The horse was owned by E.W. Mattner and trained by G.A. McDonald. Taken 19 November 1949. The individual images may be viewed by doing a number search on B 38996/1 & 2.
