Summary

[General description] People are strolling past the Mortlock Library building along a wide footpath under an avenue of Plane trees. On the right are gardens which include a palm tree. [On back of photograph] 'North Terrace / Footpath on north side of North Terrace looking east from the reading room / Oct. 26, 1926' (Another hand) 'In 1929 the lay out of the garden was altered and the path here shown was abolished. See B 5368'.
