Summary

[General description] A group of churchmen comprising the Synod are posed on the steps of the new Wesleyan Methodist church. The archway over the door has decorative brickwork and the bannister of the steps is supported by a large pedestal. See B 8801 for a larger image of the church. [On back of photograph] 'First Synod, Eyre's Peninsula district / Taken on steps of new Church / Port Lincoln / Wishing Sir S.J. and Lady Way the Compliments of the Season / ? Piper'.
