General notes

The bullock driver is possibly George Lyon, who married Isabella Oliva Hughes in 1871 (second marriage, no children). Isabella's children in 1876, living in Saltia, were Alexander Hughes (20 yrs), Charotte Hughes (19 yrs), Margaret Hughes (17 yrs), Robert Hughes (15 yrs), William Hughes (12 yrs), Thomas Tombs Hughes. Mary Ann Vial (nee Hughes, 22 yrs), her husband Edward Vial (32 yrs), with children Thomas Edwin Vial (5 yrs) and Robert John Vial. This is probably the bullock driver and family in the photo, they lived in the house to the right of photo, and the date of the photo matches my family history of the area.
