Summary

[General description] Head and shoulders portrait of Charles Mann, Junior. He is wearing modest 'mutton chop' side whiskers and has no beard. Born in Adelaide in 1838 he attended the Collegiate School of S.t Peter and then had further training in law. He was admitted to practice in 1860 and later had a distinguished parliamentary career, serving at times as attorney general and treasurer. In 1875 he was appointed QC and in 1879 was awarded the title 'Honorable' for life. [On back of photograph] 'Charles Mann, Junior'.
